Sponsor Support
Launched in 2007 and sustained entirely by industrial support, CIHL has benefited from generous multi-year start up funding by large partners Walmart, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and the VHA Inc. hospital network. Lesser but still important suport has also come from AHRMM, SMI, HIGPA, Proctor and Gamble, and IBM, in addition to in-kind assistance from GS1 and a variety of hospital providers.
Success so far has given CIHL momentum and recognition across the industry as a source of insight Houston Site Visit [Unit Dose] 059about healthcare supply chain innovations. That initial progress depended crucially on the start up support from a few large donors. To sustain the Center in the future, more modest resources will be needed form an expanded number and range of sponsors. The information below points the way to how new and renewed partners may become engaged in CIHL’s activities.
Participate in Healthcare Supply Chain Innovations as a CIHL Sponsor
CIHL invites your organization to join other leaders in healthcare supply chain as a sponsor of its research at one of two levels. All gain access to other industrial partners, to broad faculty expertise, and to healthcare-trained student recruits. In addition, sponsors have the opportunity for the visibility and excitement gained by partnering in industry-transforming healthcare innovation.
Strategic Sponsor:
Strategic sponsors are the primary sponsors of CIHL activities and provide leadership and direction for the research agenda of the Center. They are asked to subscribe to a two-year membership at $50,000 per year.
Benefits of membership at the Strategic Sponsor level:
Leadership in advanced supply chain research and innovation
Voting membership on the CIHL Governing Board and Project Oversight Committee that set the Center research agenda
Approve CIHL research strategy, projects, funding, and priority
Introduce new project subjects directions, topics, and objectives
Listing as a Strategic Sponsor in all CIHL materials and publications
Access to cutting-edge innovations including pre-release access to Center research results and non-exclusive, royalty-free intellectual property
Complementary attendance at an annual CIHL healthcare logistics research conference
Contributing Sponsor:
Contributing sponsors support supply chain research and participate in project direction and evaluation of project results. They are asked to subscribe to a one-year membership at $10,000.
Benefits of membership at the Contributing Sponsor level:
Engagement in advanced supply chain research and innovation Voting member on the Project Oversight Committee
Participation in project evaluation and feedback to the project research team Opportunity to propose projects and subjects for consideration of the CIHL Governing Board
Listing as a Contributing Sponsor in all CIHL materials and publications
Attendance at an annual CIHL healthcare logistics research conference
